WordPress admin password reset

In case you don't remember the password of the WordPress Administrator environment, you can reset it by following the steps below:

1. Log in to Plesk
 

2. In the left menu select Databases

3. Select phpMyadmin in the database you have connected to your site and you want to change the Administrator password

4. Select the wp_users table (by clicking on it). The prefix may be different from wp_ in case it was selected during wordpress installation. e.g. in the image below it is Os8xtmA

5. Select Edit to register the administrator user.

6. In the user_pass variable, select MD5 from the drop down menu, delete the existing encrypted password, enter your new password and press GO at the bottom.
