How to install an application through Plesk?
Plesk offers the ability to install dozens of applications such as WordPress & Joomla, with just a few clicks. To do this, and after first making sure that your hosting package supports database creation, follow these steps:
1. Log in to Plesk
2. Select Applications
3. Click on All Available Applications and in the search look for the application you are interested in (in our example, we will use wordpress). Once Plesk displays the application you wish to install, click the arrow to the right of Install -> Install Custom
4. Read, accept the terms of use and select Next to continue the installation.
Τhe last step, you see that the path is left empty and this means that the installation will be done in your root folder. If you want it to be done in a subfolder, write the name of the folder in the field.
6. Select Install at the bottom after filling in the necessary fields.
