What does it mean that the domain name is available for pre-registration?

You can express your interest in a domain name by pre-registration. Pre-registration is non-binding and free! By pre-ordering the domains you are interested in, as soon as they are available for registration we will try to register them for you!

Several days before the specific ending is available to the general public for registration, we will inform you by email and if you are still interested, you can proceed with a pre-order.

On the day and time that the registry releases a tld, Papaki's mechanism is activated and tries to register as many domains with that ending as are on its list. So far the successful registration rate is 90%! So, if you want to increase the chances of securing a domain, you can pre-order this domain. If we fail to secure it, the amount you paid will be refunded.

Are there any restrictions on the number of pre-bookings?
Yes, up to 100 pre-registrations can be made per user account.

How much will it cost to register the new tlds?
You can see aggregated registration prices for the new endings that have already been opened and those that will be opened shortly on the new tlds page on Papaki. In the relevant table you will find all the necessary information (cost of registration, date of registration, etc.) that is so far available around the new endings.

Am I obliged to register and acquire the domain names I have pre-registered?
No, pre-registrations are not binding and you are not obliged to finally register the domain names. As soon as the domain is available for registration you will be informed and you can then decide whether to proceed with registration or not.
