Registering a domain name is the first step to secure your online presence—whether it’s for your business website, your personal blog, or your portfolio.

Through Papaki, you can easily search for, register, and manage your domains, enjoying free extras and high-level support.

Domain registration process

Follow the steps below to register one or more domain names via Papaki:

1. Search for a domain

Go to the Papaki homepage and type your desired name in the search bar.
Click Search to check availability. Alternatively, click here.

2. Check availability

• If the domain is available, it will be added to your cart automatically. Click Continue to proceed.

• If it’s not available, you’ll see alternative extensions or similar names you can choose from.

3. Add extra services

You can then add extra products or services such as:

• Web hosting package
• Email hosting
• Website Builder

Click Continue to cart to proceed.

4. Review your cart

In the cart you can review:

A. The registration period (in years, minimum 1 year)
B. The free extras included with each new registration
C. The Trustee/Agent service (for .gr, .com.gr, .ελ, etc.) you can add if needed
D. The total price, the terms of use, and whether you already have a Papaki account

5. If you already have a Papaki account

1. Log in to your account.

2. Fill in the registrant (owner) details.

Attention! If the domain does not have an extension of Greek Registry (.gr, .com.gr, .ελ, etc.), the owner details must be filled in using Latin characters.

3. If the admin details are the same, click Copy.
4. Click Add to cart and proceed to payment.
5. Select your preferred payment method (e.g., card, PayPal, bank deposit).

6. After successful payment, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the next steps.

6. If you don’t have a Papaki account

1. Click Continue.

2. Fill in the requested details to create your new account.

3. Then provide the registrant (owner) details and, if they match the admin’s, click Copy.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

When will my domain registration be completed?

Registration is automatic and immediate after successful payment, provided no extra registry approval is required.
For .gr and .ελ domains, activation usually completes within minutes, while formal registry completion may take 5–7 days.

I made a mistake in the registrant details. Can I fix it?

Yes. Changing the owner is considered a transfer of ownership and is a paid process for all domain extensions (e.g., .gr, .com, etc.). Read more here.

I misspelled the domain itself. Can I change it?

No. After registration, the domain name cannot be modified.
You will need to register a new domain with the correct name and, if you wish, allow the previous one to expire or delete it.

In the case of a .gr domain (and all domains under the Greek Registry), a revocation may be requested within 4 days from the date of registration, so you will need to contact us as soon as possible.
