See below about what it takes to ensure a smooth and worries-free domain transfer to Papaki.
Before getting started with your domain's transfer, make sure that:
(Valid for most domain name TLDs, except GR and.EU)
1. The domain's status is not locked.
Check if your domain's status at your present registrar is locked. Many registrars "lock" automatically the domains to protect them against fraudulent transfers. You can change your domain's status to "unlocked" though the Control Panel of your present registrar online, or by contacting their Support Department.
When the status changes, just have the administrator click the link in the confirmation email.
2. Your domain name was registered less than 60 days ago.
Wait until your domain is registered for at least 60 days before you transfer it to Papaki.
3. The last domain's transfer was more than 60 days ago.
Wait until it's been at least 60 days since the last time you transferred your domain, in order to transfer it again.
4. The domain's administrator has confirmed the transfer.
To complete the tranfer of your domain, as we mentioned above, the domain administrator needs to confirm the transfer by clicking the link in the email.
5. all Domain Name Servers changes have been completed.
All DNS changes must be made before getting the domain transfer started. No DNS changes can be made during the domain name transfer process.
